Low-Cal & Guilt-Free Sweets

 Craving something sweet?  Instead of reaching for the half-gallon of Ben & Jerry’s, try these low-calorie desserts that will satisfy your sweet tooth without sapping your energy.

  • Chocolate Banana Split…literally!  Melt semi-sweet chocolate in the microwave and drizzle over a banana that’s been halved lengthwise.  Top with your favorite low-fat frozen yogurt.
  •  Sorbet is smooth and creamy heaven in a bowl!  Try a berry sorbet topped with fresh raspberries and blueberries, and drizzled with sparkling apple cider.
  • How about some tasty Sweet Trail Mix?  Combine your favorite granola, nuts, craisins, dried fruit, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips for a decadent yet guilt-free dessert.
  • Slice a Granny Smith apple and top with whip cream and chocolate syrup.
  • Melt bittersweet chocolate and dip your favorite fruits and foods - strawberries, pineapple, lady fingers, and pretzels.
